The real reason Eva Mendes didn’t pose with husband Ryan Gosling on the red carpet at the Oscars despite being backstage

Fans were left wondering why Ryan Gosling walked the red carpet without his wife Eva Mendes by his side at the Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday night. 

The Hollywood star, 43, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Barbie, posed on the red carpet with his sister Mandi instead at The Dolby Theatre. 

Eva’s Instagram followers were then surprised to see the actress, 50, was at the Oscars but had decided to skip the red carpet and head backstage.
