Stock market live updates: Equity benchmark indices gained strength after a muted start Tuesday as IT stocks lent support with firm gains. The BSE Sensex rose 400 points to 72,150 and the NSE Nifty50 was seen hovering around the 21,900 levels.
Bharti Airtel, HCLTech, Ultratech, Maruti, TCS, Wipro led gains on the Sensex. Dr Reddy’s was the additional winner on the Nifty.
