Sara Duterte sworn in as Philippines vice president

Sara Duterte, the daughter of outgoing Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, has been sworn in as the country’s 15th vice president

The inauguration took place on Sunday in Duterte’s hometown of Davao, where she is the outgoing mayor. It comes two weeks before she assumes office on June 30.

President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr, Duterte’s running mate, will take his oath in Manila on June 30.
