Russia-Ukraine war live: Russian army announces new offensive in Zaporizhzhia

AFP reports that the Russian army said today that its troops have launched an offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region, in southeast Ukraine.

Russian forces claimed to have taken “more advantageous lines and positions” during the assault.
