Poole Harbour: major incident declared over leak from oil field

A major incident has been declared after oil from the UK’s largest onshore oil field leaked into the water in Poole Harbour.

Approximately 200 barrels of reservoir fluid was released after the leak occurred at Wytch Farm oil field in Dorset on Sunday.
