Police say nightclub let customers in ‘way past closing time’

In June this year, Club Sixty Six on Silver Street had its licence revoked after police alleged that a 17-year-old girl was raped after leaving the premises.

A licensing panel of the council ordered the club to shut “with immediate effect” after a licensing hearing requested by Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
