Meeting to discuss road safety on notorious Bolton crash hotspot

Greater Manchester Police said the meeting held this week was to explore ways to work together to improve road safety standards in the area.

The force also issued tickets and seized a vehicle on the road.

It comes just weeks after Bolton MP Phil Brickell, who also attended the meeting, said GMP would be undertaking covert surveillance on the roads to identify and take action against repeat speeders and antisocial drivers.
