Bajaj Finance led gains on Sensex, up over 8 per cent after stellar Q1 numbers. Bajaj Finserv also moved 8 per cent higher. Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, Wipro, Axis Bank and Kotak Bank were the other notable winners.
On the flip side, Dr Reddy’s and Sun Pharma came under pressure, slipping up to 2 per cent. Bharti Airtel, ITC and Nestle were also subdued.
