The key benchmark indices recouped most of the intra-day losses in line with the Asian peers. The BSE Sensex, which, touched a low of 52,771, was down 150 points to 53,000-mark. The NSE
quoted around 15,800-level.
Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti and Reliance Industries were some of the prominent gainers among the Sensex 30 stocks. On the flip side, Titan and Asian Paints shed around 3.5 per cent each.
