Domestic equity markets erased early gains and turned weak on Friday as selling pressure ensued across sectors. 

Around 1:30 pm, the BSE Sensex was down around 300 points to 61,466, nearly 500 lower points from the day’s high. The NSE Nifty index shed 90 points to slip to 18,255.
