The suspected shooter during the Independence Day mass shooting that killed at least seven people and wounded dozens of others in a community outside of Chicago, Illinois, appeared in court Wednesday and was denied bail.
Robert Crimo, 21, appeared before a judge via video link from jail Wednesday for a bond hearing. He has been charged with seven counts of first-degree murder which, if convicted, could put him in prison for life without parole.
