A new independent political party has been set up to take on the established political makeup of a Bolton ward.
Gordon Campbell will be standing under The Independent Choice banner, which has recently been ratified by the Electoral Commission.
He will be hoping to represent the newly shaped Heaton, Lostock and Chew Moor ward following the local elections, which are due to be held in May.
