“Hazardous” road closed for five days for resurfacing from TODAY

Platt Lane, on the Park Road/Wigan boundary, will be closed for resurfacing works from Monday, August 12, to Saturday 17 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

Resurfacing will take about a week to complete, weather permitting. The road will only be closed on weekdays.

Property access will mostly be maintained, but it may be restricted while the roadworks are going on.
