More than 1,000 recordings of amplified music, coming from PT41 Fitness on Lodge Road, was submitted as evidence of repeated noise nuisance.
The recordings, which date back to January 2020, include examples of the gym playing loud music that could be heard within residents’ houses from 6am, seven days a week.
The council served the gym with noise abatement notices which were breached on many occasions.
