Green light to develop site of former primary school into flats

A three-storey block of flats and 16 houses will be built on the site of a former primary school.

Plans have been approved this week for the 40-home development on the former St Osmund’s RC Primary School on Blenheim Road in Breightmet.

The site, around 50 metres from Leverhulme Park, has been vacant since 2008, when the school buildings were demolished.
