Fly tipping reaches breaking point for councillor

Action has been taken to tackle the blight of fly tipping in Glebe Street in Leigh after it was named the number one hotspot in Wigan for four years running. With a total of 97 reports between 2018 and 2022, the street has become notorious for this type of behaviour in the borough.
