Countryfile hit with further fan backlash as viewers ‘switch off’ after show lacks farming content

Countryfile has once again been hit with fan backlash from viewers who claim they had to ‘switch off’ because there wasn’t enough farming in it.

The popular British documentary series has previously faced complaints from fans for a number of recent episodes for the same reason.

One installment in April featured a segment on people in the countryside having limited access to NHS dentists, which lots of viewers felt wasn’t ‘suitable’ for the show that usually focuses on farming and wildlife.
