Concerns over roadwork diversion signs which send drivers ‘the wrong way’

The Bolton News reported last week that there would be a six week road closures in place for resurfacing work to take place.

The work got underway on Monday, but has left motorists frustrated.

The works will see Darwen Road closed for a mile between Brierholme Avenue and Guild Street, and Turton Road closed for half-a-mile between Shady Lane and Oaks Avenue.
