Concerns after hundreds of bins not collected over two-day period

Concerns have been raised after reports emerged that more than 200 bins were not collected in the space of a couple of days in Bolton.

As many as 249 bins were missed off the rounds “due to operational issues or access problems” in just two days in August, which left many residents asking why their bins were missed.
