Bolton Council Chief Executive  steps down after a 'serious health incident'

The Chief Executive of Bolton Council has annouced he is to retire this autumn following a serious health incident.

 

Tony Oakman will leave his position in  October.

He came to Bolton in 2018 as Chief Executive after working in in local government and the NHS for over 35 years, starting out as a social worker in Nottinghamshire.
