Bitcoin nears $70,000 as investors digest Trump crypto comments and look ahead to central bank meetings

Cryptocurrencies rose to begin the final week of July  as traders digested a slew of political developments that took place over the weekend and looked ahead to central bank meetings this week.

Bitcoin was last higher by 2% at $69,640.00, according to Coin Metrics. Ether rose 3% to $3,382.15.
