The disturbing remains were left off Back Annis Road in Deane to the outrage of nearby residents.

The item looked like it was on a makeshift rotisserie spit.

By the weekend it had been there for days and a large number of flies had emerged around the remains.

But on Sunday it was finally removed by council officers.

Cllr Abdul Atcha says he has received calls over for days with concerns about the animal being dumped.
