A farmer is proposing to create a ‘glamping’ hub in Turton.
Phillip Quinn believes his plan would boost the local economy and diversify his business at Ramwells Farm on Edge Lane.
He has asked Blackburn with Darwen Council for planning permission to site 12 timber-clad glamping units with associated decking hot tubs, and a communal area with a kitchen on the land.
If approved, it is to be called ‘Ramwells Retreat’.
