Adrian Wojnarowski: Russell Westbrook ‘wants to have success in L.A.’

In early July, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said that he thinks a trade involving Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets and Russell Westbrook of the Los Angeles Lakers was “eventually going to happen.” The following day however, incoming Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said that he had a “clear plan” on how he’d utilize the former MVP and he felt that Westbrook was “going to flourish.”
