Brentford have agreed a deal in principle with Liverpool to sign Sepp van den Berg.

It is understood the west London club have agreed to pay £25m plus £5m in add-ons for the centre-back.

Van den Berg joined Liverpool in a £4.4m move from Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle in 2019, and has made four senior appearances.

The decision is now down to the player and the Dutchman is aware of interest from Bayer Leverkusen.
