Braves ace undergoes season-ending elbow surgery

’s season is over, as the Braves announced that the right-hander underwent an internal brace surgery on Friday. 

It was revealed last week that Strider has suffered some UCL damage, and while a brace surgery is somewhat less serious than the worst-case scenario of another Tommy John surgery, the 25-year-old ace will still miss the remainder of the 2024 campaign.
