Jyoti shops in children???s sections for clothes but has also had a lot of items custom-made. She said: ???I have to buy from children???s departments and have my own dress designer. ???I???ve even worn doll???s clothes. ???I???ve also had my own bed, chair, and sofa custom-made.??? Jyoti has a type of dwarfism called achondroplasia, where the cartilage in the body does not convert into a bone during fetal development. But despite feeling like she's ???too small???, Jyoti says she receives a lot of positive reactions from the public and has even had the chance to star in the hit series American Horror Story. Jyoti said: ???Becoming the world record holder changed my life and a lot of the time I say it???s a blessing in disguise. ???Most people are happy to see me, I???m like a celebrity. ???The people of [the] world, as well as some celebrities, have even taken selfies with me. ???I now get invited as a guest at some events and programmes. ???It???s amazing.???
