A spokesperson from Bolton Lads and Girls Club said: “On Tuesday we received an impromptu visit from the Home Secretary to BLGC. We were not informed of who would be visiting, aside from that it was a Senior Minister.
“The Home Secretary came to BLGC and showed a genuine interest and admiration for the work we do, the families and children we support and the brilliant staff and volunteers who make it all happen.”
