Award for council from Ministry of Defence to recognise commitment to armed forces

The council is one of 56 organisations from the North West to be presented with the award as part of the Employer Recognition Scheme.

The scheme was launched to reward employers who support the people linked with the armed forces and encourage others to do the same.
